-Return the vehicle back to factory specifications 

-Remove vehicle trim to gain access to vehicle body 

-Can properly fill depressions with body filler and insure a quality repair 

-Able to remove damaged parts using power tools and cutting torch 

-Bolt or weld replacement parts in position using power tools and welding equipment 

-Straighten bent automobile frames using frame wrack

Primary responsibility of the Body Shop Estimator is  to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while  creating estimates, coordinating repair needs; including all  communication, informing and updating customers and insurance companies  throughout the repair process.

Job duties include but not limited to:

· Prepare and submit Estimates

· Schedule Vehicles

· Provide Excellent customer service

· Communicate with the customers and keep them informed and updated on the progress of their vehicle

· Communicate with insurance companies

· Ensure compliance with all insurance requirements, processes, and metrics

· Attend training, informational sessions and workshops as recommended

· Communicate all customer requests and need to the appropriate team members

· Other duties as assigned

*Interested candidates should be well organized and detail oriented.

*Experience is a plus, but willing to train.

• Greet customers arriving at the dealership
• Showcase the dealership’s vehicles and explain their features and warranties to customers
• Answer customer questions about cars, financing and purchase process
• Accompany customers on test drives, collecting licenses and documentation beforehand per best practices
• Negotiate car prices and trade-in values for customers’ vehicles
• Coordinate with the finance department to determine each customer’s financing and ownership options
• Contact past customers to ensure they are satisfied with their vehicles

· Minimum 1-year experience/training as an automotive technician 

· Positive, can-do attitude 

· Valid driver’s license

• Applying lubricants to the moving parts of vehicle engines to  prevent premature engine wear and ensure optimal engine performance.
• Lubricating wheel bearings to prevent excessive tire wear.
• Performing engine cleanings to prevent rust formation.
• Replacing cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as required.
• Performing tire rotations to ensure even tire wear.
• Testing tire pressure and adding air as needed.
• Thoroughly inspecting customers’ vehicles for oil leaks.
• Making recommendations for additional servicing based on initial vehicle inspections.
• Notifying the Service Advisor when vehicle maintenance or servicing cannot be completed within scheduled timeframes.

• Consulting with technicians about needed repairs and alternatives that can be offered in place of expensive repairs

• Answering customer questions about service outcomes and consulting with technicians when necessary

• Informing customers about potential cost savings and warranty protections

• Assisting customer with deciding to fix their car through the dealership’s shop or trading the vehicle in

• Overseeing and managing the service center’s scheduling and workflow

• Informing customers of changes in service or when their vehicle is ready to be picked up
